MG 100+ Jobs Initiative Employment Coordinator

Tal’s position is employment coordinator with the MG 100+ Jobs Initiative. Tal is tasked with assisting at least 100 of the East Kimberley’s most disadvantaged Aboriginal people to become job-ready and find employment. Once employment is gained, Tal endeavours to support the clients with sustaining their employment.
Tal hails from Burdekin in far north Queensland and moved to Kununurra with his family in 2014. His work history includes agriculture sector roles, such as self-employed small crop farmer; operating machinery in the civil construction industry to maintain the national highways; and since moving to Kununurra he has worked at Aboriginal Hostels Limited as a youth worker and deputy head of boarding. Tal was also a post placement officer with East Kimberley Job Pathways prior to joining the MG Corporation 100+ Jobs team as an employment coordinator.
